The Stockings Were Hung on the Bannister With Care.
We started a family tradition of hanging Christmas socks on the staircase bannister before our children were born. The madness continues. We've been adding about a sock a year since 2001. I've been asked if we'll run out of spindles? No worries- the spindles go all the way around the upstiars hallway too. There are 53 in total!
