I Love to Read

I went to Justin's school to read to his grade 1 class. This is I Love To Read month in Manitoba schools. We read "The Velveteen Rabbit" together. They were an amazing group of listeners.

Where did "McKenzie" come from?

Our farm is in what was McKenzie school district. McKenzie Church and McKenzie School were a half mile north and two miles east of our Yard. A stone cairn marks the spot.
