Waiting for the ice to melt.

Just finished feeding the fish and wondered if their tiny brains have a memory of summer and the freedom of being in the pond instead of a fish tank. Who knows?

Where did "McKenzie" come from?

Our farm is in what was McKenzie school district. McKenzie Church and McKenzie School were a half mile north and two miles east of our Yard. A stone cairn marks the spot.
